Musically happy..

I just finished writing on LJ, and since I have become quite fond of blogger as well, decided to update here as well.

Most people haven't heard of LJ, and I have no idea why. It is one of the best blogging sites I have ever come across.

Yes, I am in a very satisafactorily happy mood. Many who have been reading my journal till now can guess. Violin class a couple of hours back, plus my music teacher gave me a CD filled with classical melodies. Ah, the joy.

Only problem: as is with Windows and all software bullshits, the tracks are listed as Track 1, 2 and so on, and am quite at a loss when it comes to knowing which piece is named what and composed by whom. Sheesh.

I mailed my teacher asking for the names and hopefully I will know by tommorow. :)

After a really long time I have sat down and actually read my drafts properly before publishing them. Not that I publish in a hurried manner, or that the proofreading isn't done well. It's just that after a long time, I actually have time to read the entire story and tweak here and there in a proper manner before publishing.

I am incredibly tempted to publish again by this evening because teachnically, my draft is absolutely ready, and the second reason is because I have recieved another review, this time from Trisha, and very encouraging and heartwarming words indeed.

I will probably never get over how I put in so much effort for a fic and then I don't get the feedback I deserve. So will not bore the reader with that again. But you will get this line from me often. ;D

I have been constantly a huge fan of CLAMP for many years now, since 2001, when I first saw Cardcaptor Sakura. It was so wonderful and my parents did scoff at my love for cartoons and anime, but I didn't care. I loved it then. I love it still now.

Yes, the picture is of the four mangaka of CLAMP. I wanted it in the middle, but as it turns out, no, right at the top. Hopefully I will grasp the stuff around here soon enough. :)

They started out in 1988 as a group of 11 doujinishi. By 1989, when they started publishing their first manga, 4 mangaka had left and they were 7 members in total. By 1993, there were 4 mangaka left, who have made and shaped CLAMP for what it is today: Igurashi Satsuki-san, Ohkawa Nanase-san, Nekoi Tsubaki-san, and Mokona-san. From left to right in the picture, this is order as well.

Ah, I better get back on my La Corda one shot and my Clamp chapter. :)

Till next time.

Di ciao.

A look..

Nothing much to post, since I already did that a while back. Just wanted people to check out my other blog as well, where I post the most, actually, and which is finally working again, the object of my hypoglycemic rant two posts earlier. :P

Here's the link:

Leave me comments there, and here as well. Thanks for reading!

Ciao!

Just music..

I have the most beautiful music playing in the background. And yes, once again, I have nothing much to write about.

Music has amazing ways of getting to the hearts of people. The main purpose for it, to be honest. But I do believe that it is quite impossible to appreciate music in it's full form, in all it's beauty, it's might and in it's fullness unless you know how to make it.

I always felt an overwhelming emptiness that seemed to be lessened by listening to music. But once I stopped to and went about my work, uneasiness overcomes me, and somehow I felt empty. Once again.

People usually learn to play instruments when they are younger, unlike me, who started September this year. And I am old, compared to the age when people usually start. That sure doesn't dissuade me.

The violin is one of the most difficult instruments to master. But the sound that comes out from it is beautiful and breathtaking beyond words, and though I am yet to bring out it's full glory, it's beautiful and I love it. Every inch of it, and every moment of it. :)

About the music I am listening to currently, it's Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, crooning away Romanza. I saw the video of the song, when he was singing in the Colosseum. Seeing him sing his heart out, you want to be there and listen to him, close your eyes, and let his voice wash over you...

Ah, the music...

On a lighter note, all my exams are done with, and it's another three weeks before college begins. 15th Jan. Nice. Enough time to continue with and finish my fic, plus start a new one with Syazie..if possible...she has her holidays now as well, but it's been a while since I heard from her. A little weird, coz she often online. Unless she has not been getting the opportunity to do so.

Watched Happy Feet ( finally ) and A Lot Like Love ( again ), and loved both of 'em. Till now my plans for the evening are practicing, writing and watching a couple more movies. Am all in the mood for movies, after all it's Christmas.

Merry Christmas, everyone! ^__^

Exams and unwanted dreams...

Any reason for a post? Should there be one? Guess not. :D

Or maybe because I have tried posting this on LJ thrice and I have failed. They mess up me stuff. Period. Ugh.

And just when I was beginning to love the said site.

My experience with blogspot.com hasn't been too good either, since many a time I have tried posting and the entire thing didn't get posted. Why? Just like it is. Oh well. T__T

So, any highlights of the day? Exam tommorow. Mechanical Science. Ugh. 5th exam, though, so after that only one left. Yippee!

No, wait, that's Electronics. Ah sheesh.

I may sound like I have lost all the enthusiasm in the world, and that's mostly because my favourite site jumbles up my posts. Sheesh! Never happened before for the life of me. T__T

Brittany Murphy died yesterday. Shock to the system. She apparently collapsed in the bathroom, and went into cardiac arrest, when medics tried to revive her. Really loved her. Fantastic acting, especially Love and Other Disasters. Will miss her truly.

I am delving into J-pop a lot more than before now. Mostly thanks to ff.net author insaneteacup. Sakamoto Maaya-san is damn brilliant. Love her voice!

I am a bit out of patience for LJ, but will still try while I am at it.

That's it for today.

Hoping to have not bored someone with this!

Di ciao.

Till next time.
